E-Record V6.2 Download

To quote the ATO: e-Record is a free electronic record-keeping system, to small businesses.

I have had a lot of positive feedback on my making e-Record available when the ATO removed it, and further feedback from many people who love it and want to keep using it.

For example: E-Record will no longer be available

To further quote the ATO: In 2009, we conducted a review which found e-Record to require redevelopment to keep up with technology and new business directions and to be no longer compatible with current commercial record-keeping systems. Since July 2010, e-Record is no longer available.

Due to the data costs of making e-Record available for download and the time and effort required to help people who somehow cannot manage to download and install e-record, I now find myself having to request a $14 donation for anyone who wants to download E-Record.

NOTE: I am unable to provide any support for E-Record. E-Record is supplied AS IS, and might not be suitable for your situation.

Before you get e-Record, please be aware of the following:

• If, after payment, you do not receive an email with a username, password, and download link near the end of the email (within, say, 2 hours), then please check your Junk or Spam folder.
• PLEASE make sure that the email you use to pay via Paypal is not DIFFERENT to your normal email.
• Check that you have written your email address correctly.
• Sometimes, the download can be corrupted by a bad internet connection. If the install doesn't work, try downloading again and try installing on a different computer.
• When the download is about to start, you are usually asked if you want to run the program, or save it. "Save it" is the best and most reliable option.
• Windows 7: The first time you run it, it will say it doesn't know how to open worksheetindex2.ifm. At this point, you get windows to open the file using either: C:\Program Files (x86)\FileNet\eForms\Filler.exe or C:\Program Files\FileNet\eForms\Filler.exe. You can also tick the box that says "use this application from now on".
• Macintosh: e-Record will NOT work with the latest version of MacOS (10.7 - Lion).
• Macintosh: If you have MacOS 10.7 (Lion) or later, then you might consider downloading the Windows version of erecord, and using it in the Macs windows emulation mode.
• Macintosh: erecord for the newer Intel Macs will need to use "Rosetta". For MacOS 10.6: you will need to download and install Rosetta first.
• Macintosh: Sometimes, you can get: "unable to unarchive error (Error 1 - Operation not permitted.)". Some owners have been able to fix this by installing: Stuffit Expander.

If you don't receive a download link with 30 minutes: If you don't have $14 in your paypal account, and if you fund paypal via a bank account (instead of via a credit card), then paypal will deem your donation an e-cheque payment... which can take up to 5 days to clear! If you think this applies to you, then transfer $14 into your paypal account beforehand.
